Da Le Gas is Spanish for Give It Gas! I started this brand while reflecting on my motocross accident. If I just gave my YZ-450 fx a little more gas over that triple, life would be a little different. And saying a "little different" is a big understatement.

This all started after I was involved in a catastrophic motorcross accident. I was airlifted to Phoenix Children's Hospital where I spent weeks in the Intensive Care Unit recovering from a traumatic brain injury, a spinal cord injury and extensive facial fractures. While hospitalized, the neurosurgeons implanted an inter-cranial pressure monitor, performed a spinal fusion and completed facial reconstruction surgery. After 76 days of hospitalization I was released and continued my long road to recovery through outpatient rehabilitation. This has included hundreds of hours of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy among various other therapies. I've been vey blessed to have had an amazing team by my side, from the moment I crashed to now. This experience has taught me a lot of things, regretfully some of which no teenager should have to endure. But what I have found is with a positive attitude, support of friends & family and especially having faith in God, you can persevere through the darkest of moments in life.
